Here I am back after over a month! (OMG, how much it seems to be
) But I must admit that for me is hasn’t seemed such a long while as I’ve been busy with school…sorry..HIGH school ever since…uhm well…ever since it started actually
So far, so good I may say. I’ve only taken high marks, a lot better than I had expected ^^ I’ll make a review of everything that has happened in high school during the last month, as there are a lot of interesting things to tell you about: the prom, the Halloween party, the trip, etc. Tomorrow I’m having the first half’s English exam, so this blog entry is kinda meant to be a verification of my use of tenses, so as to prepare for the exam
I can’t say I’m frightened by the idea of having a test, cause English has always been the subject I went to exams completely relaxed, but I know the teacher has high expectations, and I’m aware of the fact that only a bit of inattention may easily ruin my mark 0.o But let’s be optimistic, shall we?
I’d rather tell you about the site related events that have happened for first than about the high school related events, as I may write a separate blog about this, perhaps during the weekend. So, let’s start with the beginning. You know I won my summerhugs.com domain in a contest a year ago, and that it was due to expire on 20th October. I decided to re-buy it, and as I didn’t have a credit card a friend had offered to pay it from her card. Everything was okay, but then, even after the expiration they had passed, it continued to appear unavailable. After I had done a research, I found out that every single domain had a 45 days grace period while it can still be renewed by its owner, so there was no way I could buy the domain. So, I decided to buy summerhugs.net. Oh, I forgot to tell you that meanwhile I had found a great host, Lissie. But, guess what! When I was to buy the .net domain, a problem occured with the friend’s credit card, so another week of delay was added. Summing everything up, there’s almost a month delay. Not very fond of it, but let’s see the full half: at least I got my site back in the end
. I have to shuffle through the content and make some retouches were needed, so I can’t call my site ready for use yet. Neither the theme is completely finished, so yeah…there’s still a lot to do.
Well well, I reckon this was all I had to say. I should be back on weekend, with a blog entry regarding the review of all the events that have happened in high school during the last month. That blog should also contain photos, cause there are lots I have to share with you
Till the next time, I wish you all the best!

I made a video blog, my first one
, with my friends on Saturday, but I’m having issues on gluing all its parts together as it is formed by about a dozen different videos
I’ve downloaded Sony Vegas 8 from a torrent but while installing it just stopped and refused to go either forward or backward, so I gave up. Then found out an old video editor I’ve had on my computer for a while and I had forgotten about called Ulead Video Studio 11. It seemed to work perfectly until it came to save the edited video, formed by multiple other videos, as an .avi file. Not only it took a lot, but when I opened the video at first it was just the sound and a black image, and then by the end the image appeared but it was like in slow motion
So I gave up again! Now I downloaded Sony Vegas 7, but haven’t installed it yet, as my friends told me at school that it is easier to install cause it doesn’t need as many codecs or whatever they are called as Sony Vegas 8. Hope this one will work, although Ramona has already downloaded and tried it and has told me it doesn’t load .avi files…argh!! Do you know any other good video editing programs?
However, we really had fun while recording that video blog and my friends (Ramona, Giulia and Crina) who took part in it were really excited about the idea of a video blog, a lot more than I expected actually
If I still don’t figure it out, I’ll upload it just as it is, in a lot of parts
As you’ve probably already seen, I made a new layout today. The last one seemed to be just too plain for me, so I decided to change it. I mean, it wasn’t that bad, but I just wasn’t satisfied with it and it also had some little problems. I’ve made this one pretty quickly, I mean quickly for me, not in general
although I though it will take me like ages. I still have to fix some CSS parts, like making an image for the post icon and the blockquote. I’ll probably do this tomorrow. I’m having a test at Romanian tomorrow, so I’ve spent most of this day studying for it. It contains the same subjects that are for the exam, which is only 2 weeks away, on 5th May. However, I’m kinda looking forward to this exams cause once they’re done it means end of the school for me
I reckon I’m done and I also have to go to sleep. Also, I’ve finally made a Twitter account, so if you like to follow be you can find me at http://www.twitter.com/summerhugs. Bye!

I made a new layout, as you could see, and I’m quite proud of. It’s a dedication to dance, as I like it so much and it’s part of my life, and this year will be kinda sad one cause I won’t be going to dance anymore, as I can go to neither the IFMD World Championship in Greece cause it’s in the same period with my exams, nor the IDF World Championship in Barcelona cause some team mates couldn’t afford the trip
. So basically this will be a no-dance year, and it’s gonna be quite hard for to get used not to go training. Hopefully, this layout will remind me of dance
I have to go now cause my eyes really hurt as I spent some hours today working on this new layout. I hope you like it! ^^
I know my layout really messes up in Internet Explorer, but I don’t know why, and I doubt that it will look the same if I try to make it look pretty good in Internet Explorer. This is how it looks like in Mozilla Firefox. If you have any suggestions on how to make it look fine in Internet Explorer too please tell me in a comment or contact me. I’d be really thankful!
