Firstly, thanks to Darius for urging me to write this post
It was maybe the toughest week I’ve ever had, or any way in the top 5, but surely it contained the worst day: this Thursday, which I’ll call for a long time from now on ‘The Black Thursday’
No really, I wonder why do people call Friday ‘The Black Friday’ or ‘The Freaky Friday’? They’re so damn wrong! Friday is one of the happiest days (except for weekend days
) and for a reason that is nothing more than sheer simplicity: it’s the last school day! After the Biology class on Friday ends, it’s officially freedom! Isn’t it the same for you? OK, so now I guess I should tell you why this Thursday was so disastrous. It began with a test at informatics, it had been previously announced and actually surprisingly easy (although I think I have messed up one of the subjects 0.o ), but still it was a test which automatically lowers the overall percentage of a day. After that, an unannounced test at physics, whose reason we still find incomprehensible. I mean, we are still unable what made the teacher mad at us, but the fact is that she hit with a test, quickly and unaware, just like a hand grenade. Biology was okay, although we should’ve passed a test, the teacher was very nice and understood our problems and we watched a film together. Then maths -the class that proves that size and the amount of fear something inspires are not always directly proportional
(you guys know what I’m talking about) The marks register was gifted with another 3/10. How ‘nice’! 0.o The chemistry teacher (fabrication date undetermined
) proved to be the ‘cool gang boy’
as he let us leave the classroom about 10 minutes earlier. So nice of you, Mr. Boat!
Hopefully this weekend will be easier than the previous one, and funnier I expect. Tomorrow night I’m going to Iulia’s 16th birthday party (Happy Birthday Iulia! ^^ ), and on Sunday we planned on going to the park, as the weather forecast predicts 20 degrees Celsius, which means spring and …oh! how I love this time of the year
We might also take our guitars with us in the park. Wanna come and see us playing?
Oh, Oana, you should come and I might help you with chords switching if you want
Or have you already managed to do it?
Regarding the note in the beginning of this post, I have promised Darius (damn!) that I will write something about him in a post. If you thought you knew the most self-sufficient person, you were so damn wrong! No one talks more about his/her self than Darius, believe me. Darius and the word brag are almost synonyms, the only exception is that ‘brag’ isn’t a KFC addict, and doesn’t have a plumpy belly filled with crispy strips. Oh, and also, that inoffensive little word doesn’t need to be persuaded for hours to give away 10 lei for some books
Are you pleased now? Well, actually there may be more to come if you leave some comments
Till then, the part about you stops here. Mwhaha!
Anyway, some super random questions for the others:
1.Do you have a best/worst day of the week?
2.When was the last time you puked in the car? (It always happens to me, so I need to know if I’m the only car sick around here
)
3.What kind of books do you like to read?
I’m ashamed of my self, really! This site is going down the drain
Well, maybe I’m saying it a bit metaphorically, but since I had to switch from summerhugs.com to summerhugs.net, and have stayed out from the web world for almost a month, things have been going down regarding this site. I had proposed myself to get this site back to a decent state during the Christmas holiday, but I received my guitar -Billie Joe- and it took over all my holiday time. When school started, I’ve been extremely busy making narrative essays and working for the English Olympiad for the whole first week. I may post some of the essays I made here, of course, if I don’t forget
Anyway, I got 90/100 points at the Olympiad, which is pretty rewarding for me. For me, the best reward is that I’ve improved my English a lot, and after all that’s all that matter, not the number written on that ordinary sheet of paper called a Diploma ^^
Oh damn!
I can’t believe it
I’ve just broken my guitar’s B string! Poor Billie Joe, he must’ve felt such an overwhelming pain! -but thank’s God he’s just a guitar, and plain wood can’t feel pain ^.^ – Well, this means another point added on tomorrow’s to-do list: buying new guitar strings, beside going to dance training, buying some new clothes and going to Silviu’s surprise birthday party. Silviu is my classmate, for who we have bought a present and booked a part from a pub for throwing a surprise party for him there
I reckon is gonna be interesting, as he’s not suspecting anything
When he noticed that Ana, his deskmate, was collecting money from the other classmates, Ana asked him for money too, saying it’s for poor children
That’s a smart thing, eh?
Although today was expected to be a tough day, it ended up quite okay
Well, except for Billie’s broken string, but that represents the unpredicted-’It’s something unpredictable, but in the end it’s right..’ Oh, no no, Billie Joe (the real one!
) This wasn’t right
Okay, let’s get over this
So, what was I actually expecting to be tough? The Logic and Music classes, but eventually it turned out to be easier than I would’ve ever expected
Uhmm…I gotta go. It’s getting late, and I have a lot to do tomorrow 0.o I think I’m going to bed, but first I guess I’ll start reading ‘Atonement’ by Ian McEwan
I’ve already read other 2 books of his, ‘Saturday’ and ‘Amsterdam’ and I really enjoyed them. I highly recommend them for those who are sick of vampires, wizards, other creepy creatures or impossible love stories 0.o That being said, I’m off! See you again as soon as possible ^^

Yeah, you’re right! It’s snowing! Yaaay!
It started last night, and it has continued for the entire day so far. Nevertheless, it started snowing even more heavily now. I just hope it won’t suddenly transform into a huge slough because of an unpredicted wave of warmer temperatures
Another point of the good news’ list is that school is officially over now, and Christmas holiday officially on!
Although, I could’ve called it holiday since Friday, because we didn’t do too much at school on that day. Except for the always-on-duty Logic teacher, who even gave us a test on Friday. No, I’m not kidding or overstating things, she really is kind of a paranoid 0.o Overall, the first half of the freshman year has been actually better than I expected. Today I had a meeting with my ex-class and my ex-teacher, and most of them were saying that they had also taken some quite low marks, did not get on so well with their new classmates, and I realised that I’m lucky: I’ve taken only high marks so far, and I’m super getting along with my classmates. Every weekend we hang out in a pub or something, we’re celebrating the New Year’s Eve together at one’s restaurant, and so on.
Uh, I hope that now, that holiday has just started, I’ll have more time for the site. I hope, but I don’t promise though
Today, mom brought me a Photoshop book I had been asking for a long from her school’s library. She said there was also another book, a more advanced one, but the librarian gave her this is for Photoshop 7 and it only contains some text effects, and basic instructions. Even though, I may post some of the tutorial on the site. I guess they may be interesting
Well, I guess that’s it. I don’t have too much left to say, and even so I know that not too many persons will read this blog, so it’s fairly enough
I’ve got a serious job of leaving comments to do in the next day, as well as retouching some sections of the site and lots of others, so yeah, blogging isn’t the main objective these days

Here I am back after over a month! (OMG, how much it seems to be
) But I must admit that for me is hasn’t seemed such a long while as I’ve been busy with school…sorry..HIGH school ever since…uhm well…ever since it started actually
So far, so good I may say. I’ve only taken high marks, a lot better than I had expected ^^ I’ll make a review of everything that has happened in high school during the last month, as there are a lot of interesting things to tell you about: the prom, the Halloween party, the trip, etc. Tomorrow I’m having the first half’s English exam, so this blog entry is kinda meant to be a verification of my use of tenses, so as to prepare for the exam
I can’t say I’m frightened by the idea of having a test, cause English has always been the subject I went to exams completely relaxed, but I know the teacher has high expectations, and I’m aware of the fact that only a bit of inattention may easily ruin my mark 0.o But let’s be optimistic, shall we?
I’d rather tell you about the site related events that have happened for first than about the high school related events, as I may write a separate blog about this, perhaps during the weekend. So, let’s start with the beginning. You know I won my summerhugs.com domain in a contest a year ago, and that it was due to expire on 20th October. I decided to re-buy it, and as I didn’t have a credit card a friend had offered to pay it from her card. Everything was okay, but then, even after the expiration they had passed, it continued to appear unavailable. After I had done a research, I found out that every single domain had a 45 days grace period while it can still be renewed by its owner, so there was no way I could buy the domain. So, I decided to buy summerhugs.net. Oh, I forgot to tell you that meanwhile I had found a great host, Lissie. But, guess what! When I was to buy the .net domain, a problem occured with the friend’s credit card, so another week of delay was added. Summing everything up, there’s almost a month delay. Not very fond of it, but let’s see the full half: at least I got my site back in the end
. I have to shuffle through the content and make some retouches were needed, so I can’t call my site ready for use yet. Neither the theme is completely finished, so yeah…there’s still a lot to do.
Well well, I reckon this was all I had to say. I should be back on weekend, with a blog entry regarding the review of all the events that have happened in high school during the last month. That blog should also contain photos, cause there are lots I have to share with you
Till the next time, I wish you all the best!
