Today was an either lucky and unlucky day…I really don’t know if I should consider what happened to me luck or bad luck, but I think I’m going for luck

So…you know that today I was supposed to go to that maths contest. I arrived there and… guess what! I wasn’t on the lists, again! ( I also couldn’t find my name on the lists at the previous stage of this contest, but finally I found out that I was on a different floor than all the other 8th grade students). But this time I really wasn’t on the lists cause I looked everywhere and I didn’t see my name. So I called mom to tell her I couldn’t find me on the lists and that she should call my teacher and tell her about this. The teacher told mom that she might have misunderstood when the other teacher in the school told her who were the students qualified for this stage of the contest. Mom called me back and told me to return to that school where the contest was ( cause I already had left the school yard and I was on the street heading home) and wait until my teacher calls the other teacher and sees if it really has been a mistake. So I returned and stared for like 5 minutes at the lists outside to be sure that I wasn’t there…and of course I wasn’t Then mom called back and told me that the other teacher mistook me for another girl in the school and told my I teacher that I qualified, when actually he was referring to another girl So, I returned home, walking slowly and enjoying my walk, while the other were struggling their brains with those impossible exercises

Actually I consider all this story kind of a good luck, cause anyway I was like a nightmare when I thought about staying for 3 hours in a classroom full of nerds what have dedicated their life to maths and only maths So, in the end, it all finished better than it ever could! ^^ I stayed home for 2 days, being supposed to work for the contest, and I didn’t even participated..haha The only bad thing was that I had to wake up at 7:30 although it was Sunday

I don’t know if you have noticed, but now my layout doesn’t mess up anymore in Internet Explorer. Yay! I would like to thank Nedo for this, as she helped me figure it out. Well…I gotta go now, cause I wanna watch TV Oh..and by the way, I added Patterns. Only one set so far, but more coming soon ^^

Wow wow! I’m having 2 days off school (Thursday and Friday) because on Saturday I’m going to a math contest ..whatever… At first I didn’t want to go, because the subjects are nearly impossible and I think I won’t be able to do anything, and I was planning to act as having an unexpected cold …mwhaha But in the end, 2 days off school is more than worth for spending 3 hours in a classroom with a lot of other students struggling their minds on some impossible maths exercises. I have to develop a method to defeat the boredom I’m going to be subdued to in those 3 hours, cause I’m not gonna write too much cause I’ll know barely nothing

So…I might do some updates these days, I won’t be going to school, but I don’t wanna promise too much cause I’m not sure…I might go out or something Well…nothing very interesting happened at school lately, just yesterday something pretty hilarious happened. While I was getting out of the class I met the head master and she asked me “Oh, sweetie, wouldn’t you like to make a school blog?” When I heard this question I was like stoned cause we’ve already made a school blog even if we haven’t get her approval. So after I thought for a couple of seconds I said a soft “Ermm…well…you know…actually we’ve made one already ” this was followed by a hilarious “Oh…and you write bad things about teachers there ?” and then I said a quiet “Oh, no…We only write about things that happen in the school ”

Uhmm..that was it. I gotta go now, cause I have training at gymnastics. Actually I’m gonna be the coach today

Today I had a maths contest (The Maths Olympiad-Local stage). I really didn’t want to go to this contest, cause I can’t see how it can help we, but the teacher insisted on me and some other classmates to go to this contest, so we couldn’t say no. “Unfortunately” we passed the school stage, so here we are this morning at 8:30 in the mild rain in the super duper crowded yard of the high school where the contest took place. As we all weren’t to delighted of the idea of this contest, we were making stupid wishes like “Aww, I just hope I can’t find myself on the lists!” or “Ahh, I just wanna finish this and go home”.-Be careful what you wish cause you just might get it! – We couldn’t manage to see in which classrooms we where distributed cause the crowd in front of the lists panel was impossible to break through. After some failed attempts to see the lists we went at random towards one of the buildings where we saw most of the students our age were going. We got to the first floor, through all that crowding of students and over caring parents, we looked over the list that was shown on the door of the first classroom and saw that it was 5 and 6 grades, so we went up to the next floor. There we finally saw 8 grade on the list. All my mates found theirselves on the lists, and got into their classrooms. I went with Ana towards the end of the corridor (my surname starts with T and hers with S, so we’re always at the end of the alphabetically ordered lists) In the last classroom we found just Ana, but not we. I called my teacher to tell her I couldn’t find my name there, and she said that I shall go to organisers’ office to tell them I couldn’t locate my name in any classroom, as she’s sure my school sent the right list. So I took Ana with me and went to the ground floor to talk with the organisers. There an ‘infatuated’ lady told us that we should keep searching cause the classrooms where mixed. So we went back to the 2nd floor were Ana’s classroom was and I told a teacher in that classroom about my problem. We followed me on the corridor and checked all the lists on that floor than she told me that I might be in a different floor or a different building either. Thinking of having to go into another building really scared me cause it was quite late and it made me think that other time I shall be careful what I wish cause it might happen so I ran all over that building and checked every list on the classrooms’ doors and in the end I found my name on the list of a ‘forgotten-like’ classroom on a lower floor ( 1st I think). I entered the rather small classroom panting and I told the teacher that was there that I’m sorry I’m late, but I couldn’t find that classroom. I got to my place (it was 9:15 or 9:30 by that time). I started talking with some girls my age, and at 10:30, after about an hour and a half from the time that the contest should have normally started, we finally received the subjects!! Well, the subjects were kinda IMPOSSIBLE!! I was starring at the 2 algebra subjects and I just couldn’t understand anything So I started solving the other 2 geometry problems. I almost did one entirely, and kinda half of the other, and then returned to algebra and started starring like dumb again I wrote everything that passed through my mind, I don’t even know if it’s correct! Then at about 12:15 I gave up and handed the papers. Then I ran to catch up Ramona, who left earlier, so we could go to the dance training which started at 12:30. We arrived at training quite in time. It was so enjoyable to relax through dance after all that happened in the morning and after we worked our minds so much. Our coach, Misses Cojocaru wasn’t there, it was just Ionut, a 23 years old student that is now coming and teaching us dance. We were so relaxed, and really had that pleasure to dance, haha We left at about 2:40 and I arrived home at about 3:10.
In the afternoon I went shopping with my mom. Yay! You know that is sales period now, so I managed to buy at really low prices. I bought a pink anorak from Terranova, and other 2 blouses from Kenvelo (I found them at a really low price for what’s usually at Kenvelo).
So that’s today’s adventure. I couldn’t manage to do almost anything for the re-vamp, cause now my eyes started to hurt when I stay too much in front of the computer. However, I’ll try to find some time to finish the re-vamp in the end.
