Tough week

Firstly, thanks to Darius for urging me to write this post :D
It was maybe the toughest week I’ve ever had, or any way in the top 5, but surely it contained the worst day: this Thursday, which I’ll call for a long time from now on ‘The Black Thursday’ :nerd: No really, I wonder why do people call Friday ‘The Black Friday’ or ‘The Freaky Friday’? They’re so damn wrong! Friday is one of the happiest days (except for weekend days :D ) and for a reason that is nothing more than sheer simplicity: it’s the last school day! After the Biology class on Friday ends, it’s officially freedom! Isn’t it the same for you? OK, so now I guess I should tell you why this Thursday was so disastrous. It began with a test at informatics, it had been previously announced and actually surprisingly easy (although I think I have messed up one of the subjects 0.o ), but still it was a test which automatically lowers the overall percentage of a day. After that, an unannounced test at physics, whose reason we still find incomprehensible. I mean, we are still unable what made the teacher mad at us, but the fact is that she hit with a test, quickly and unaware, just like a hand grenade. Biology was okay, although we should’ve passed a test, the teacher was very nice and understood our problems and we watched a film together. Then maths -the class that proves that size and the amount of fear something inspires are not always directly proportional :| (you guys know what I’m talking about) The marks register was gifted with another 3/10. How ‘nice’! 0.o The chemistry teacher (fabrication date undetermined :nerd: ) proved to be the ‘cool gang boy’ :)) as he let us leave the classroom about 10 minutes earlier. So nice of you, Mr. Boat! :)

Hopefully this weekend will be easier than the previous one, and funnier I expect. Tomorrow night I’m going to Iulia’s 16th birthday party (Happy Birthday Iulia! ^^ ), and on Sunday we planned on going to the park, as the weather forecast predicts 20 degrees Celsius, which means spring and …oh! how I love this time of the year :) We might also take our guitars with us in the park. Wanna come and see us playing? :D Oh, Oana, you should come and I might help you with chords switching if you want :) Or have you already managed to do it? :D

Regarding the note in the beginning of this post, I have promised Darius (damn!) that I will write something about him in a post. If you thought you knew the most self-sufficient person, you were so damn wrong! No one talks more about his/her self than Darius, believe me. Darius and the word brag are almost synonyms, the only exception is that ‘brag’ isn’t a KFC addict, and doesn’t have a plumpy belly filled with crispy strips. Oh, and also, that inoffensive little word doesn’t need to be persuaded for hours to give away 10 lei for some books  Are you pleased now? Well, actually there may be more to come if you leave some comments >:) Till then, the part about you stops here. Mwhaha!

Anyway, some super random questions for the others:
1.Do you have a best/worst day of the week?
2.When was the last time you puked in the car? (It always happens to me, so I need to know if I’m the only car sick around here :-s )
3.What kind of books do you like to read?

J’attends

Translated, that means I’m waiting. I’m impatiently waiting for the French students’ arrival. They are due to arrive on Wednesday evening, and they’ll leave on Monday morning, as far as I know. I’ve already contacted my correspondent: her name is Coralie, and she’s very nice :) I can’t wait to spend my time with her :D I’ve also contacted some other students, which are going to be hosted by my friends/classmates. And it’s like a ‘blessing’ for us that most of them know English, as this will ease our conversation. I can speak French, but not as easily as I speak English, and I usually make a lot of mistakes. But I’ll try to speak French too, for is a great opportunity to improve my language, and you know that the more languages you can speak fluently, the better is for you :) I think this will be my last blog entry until they’ll leave Romania, although I was thinking of making a video blog with my French fellow as a ‘special guest’. You know, like the special guests in TV shows :D Well, I’ll see. Actually, I first thought of making the video blog today, featuring me playing the guitar, but then an avalanche of homework hit me unaware, so I gave up -.-

Moving on, I bought a new screen for my PC today (a Full HD b-) ) and it’s so….wide :| It took me a while to get used to it, but tonight I’m gonna test it on a movie >:) and see if it was worth the money. So far, it’s been worth for one reason: I now have a lot more space on my desk :D My that’s not the main reason LCD screens are made for 0.o

Well, this was a short blog, as it was meant to be from the start (or it’s just an illusion caused by the width of my new screen :nerd: ). Anyway, I’m going to practice guitar a little now, as my correspondent doesn’t like rock music too much, and I want to learn something to entertain her (something from Beyonce, or Nelly Furtado perhaps?)

Because of airport!

I know the title may be a bit confusing, non-sense for you, but it represents what may be called ‘phrase of the night’ at last night’s party we threw at Lavi’s. Darius was teasing Ana (really badly! 0.o) and asked her ‘Why…*something I do not remember*?’ and then Ana’s reply stormed like out of nowhere, completely lacking any trace of sense: ‘Because of airport!’ It hit us unaware, and it got us rolling on the floor laughing :nerd: We continued on repeating the now already famous phrase ‘Because of airport!’ for the rest of the night, between choked laughter. Everything that was happening was because of airport, or at the airport. I’m still stunned of how dramatically it lacks sense, but it was funny anyway. Now it doesn’t seem as funny as at that moment, and I’m wondering how someone could say something like this :| Overall, the party was great, there were a lot of persons, unexpected ones, we terrorized the rest of the apartments with the audio system, we played guitar and I finally got Billie Joe tuned, thanks to Oana’s lovely guitar tuner :) I showed off my guitar skills, ha! b-) I made Ana enviously leave the room when I played Good Riddance plucked (with picking). I’m not boasting, don’t get me wrong :D We also ordered pizza, and played the party common game ‘Truth or Dare’, but happily enough the challenges weren’t so harsh as always :D I mean skandenberg and acting like a cluster (I don’t know how someone is supposed to act like a cluster, so yeah, it’s 2-0 for non-sense!) is not that bad ;)

Other important facts: I’m taking part in an experience exchange that my high school and a French private school are involved in. The French students are coming to Romania this February, and we’ll have to take a French student home, and by the end of May we are going to France (I’ll see Paris! b-) ). Hopefully, the French students are supposed to know English, so communication will be much easier than if I had to struggle to speak French. However, I have proposed myself to try and speak French as much as I can, until I will involuntary burst into English. But I’m sure we’ll have a great time, either here and in France. I’m still pondering on whether I should host a girl or a boy. What do you say? Also, the trip to France occurs to be in the same period as the IDF Dance Championship in Hungary, so no dance champ this year, unfortunately :( I chose going to France because our dance team is highly affected by lack of interest from boys’ side, so there was small chance of having a great performance there, so it wouldn’t be worth going. Nevertheless, I’m still going to training :)

That being said, I’m kinda done. I wanna learn a new guitar song, either ‘Don’t Cry’ by Guns N’ Roses or ‘The Man who sold the World’ by Nirvana. I found some interesting tutorials here. Bye! ^^

Guitar clashes

In the last couple of days Rebecca brought her guitar called Dexter when we hanged out. So we tried to learn how to play it… but without significant improvements. It’s still nothing but clashing. Though, Ana is the most ‘advanced’ (if I can say so) from the 3 of us. She managed to switch chords and she’s almost playing Good Riddance, although it doesn’t sound at all like the original song :)) But anyway she’s holding on and killing her fingers, literally :| Last night her fingers gained a purple shade. No wonder after how much he had played the guitar. Even my left hand fingers are a bit redder than the right hand ones, and I played for no more than 10 minutes (overall). I wonder how big guitarists’ hands look like? :| Ugrhh :-s
Nevermind. Here I have a nice and funny Twilight quiz. I received it from Oana yesterday, and I thought of sharing it with you :)
