Oh, when the lights went off

The current installation of Christmas decorations on the streets around the city center brought us today 2 hours off school ^^ Why? Because it made the lights in the whole high school to go off. As it was impossible to hold the classes in complete darkness, we were sent home. It was very funny when the head master showed up in the classroom, while we were rushing around. He said :’Hello, kids! I’m the head master! Can you see me?’. So yeah, thanks you Mr. Mayor and your enormous, super sparkly, glittery, shiny, big, bright, eyesight-taking Christmas lights/decorations, for letting us off 2 extremely hard classes: maths and chemistry :| Lately, the chemistry class has become the most boring of all classes 0.o It seems like an heroic effort to resist, and keep attentive. Not only the teacher looks like a fossil (he has been dad’s teacher too!), but he manages to say only 2 words per minute, and his classes seem to take ages to finish! This teacher looks like he’s been frozen in time :nerd: We’ve found a picture of him in an yearbook from ’75 and he looks identical! He even has the very same glasses, and tie! :| Oh, also today I had the physics term paper, which was suspiciously easy. No really, I’m not boasting about how well I do know physics, or about the fact that mom is a physics teacher, but after I had first looked over the subjects I couldn’t believe it. I though that I must be a trick somewhere, but in the end no trick showed up, luckily :D

Tomorrow I’m having the logic class, which is going to be very hard because I missed last time, and the teacher is very angry at us all, and she’s giving us a test (probably a very difficult one :-s ) and it is quite impossible to me to understand anything. Every time I tried to look over the notebook I was like ‘WTF is this? :nerd: ‘ Well, I guess that all I need is a ‘big bunch of luck’ (I don’t know how grammatically correct this is, but at least it sounds like what I wanted to say :D )

Uhhh…I really gotta go now! I’ll probably update during the week-end, as I’m having a 4 days week-end :P I’ll explain you why ;)

Back in business

Here I am back after over a month! (OMG, how much it seems to be :| ) But I must admit that for me is hasn’t seemed such a long while as I’ve been busy with school…sorry..HIGH school ever since…uhm well…ever since it started actually :D So far, so good I may say. I’ve only taken high marks, a lot better than I had expected ^^ I’ll make a review of everything that has happened in high school during the last month, as there are a lot of interesting things to tell you about: the prom, the Halloween party, the trip, etc. Tomorrow I’m having the first half’s English exam, so this blog entry is kinda meant to be a verification of my use of tenses, so as to prepare for the exam :D I can’t say I’m frightened by the idea of having a test, cause English has always been the subject I went to exams completely relaxed, but I know the teacher has high expectations, and I’m aware of the fact that only a bit of inattention may easily ruin my mark 0.o But let’s be optimistic, shall we? :D

I’d rather tell you about the site related events that have happened for first than about the high school related events, as I may write a separate blog about this, perhaps during the weekend. So, let’s start with the beginning. You know I won my summerhugs.com domain in a contest a year ago, and that it was due to expire on 20th October. I decided to re-buy it, and as I didn’t have a credit card a friend had offered to pay it from her card. Everything was okay, but then, even after the expiration they had passed, it continued to appear unavailable. After I had done a research, I found out that every single domain had a 45 days grace period while it can still be renewed by its owner, so there was no way I could buy the domain. So, I decided to buy summerhugs.net. Oh, I forgot to tell you that meanwhile I had found a great host, Lissie. But, guess what! When I was to buy the .net domain, a problem occured with the friend’s credit card, so another week of delay was added. Summing everything up, there’s almost a month delay. Not very fond of it, but let’s see the full half: at least I got my site back in the end ;) . I have to shuffle through the content and make some retouches were needed, so I can’t call my site ready for use yet. Neither the theme is completely finished, so yeah…there’s still a lot to do.

Well well, I reckon this was all I had to say. I should be back on weekend, with a blog entry regarding the review of all the events that have happened in high school during the last month. That blog should also contain photos, cause there are lots I have to share with you :)
Till the next time, I wish you all the best!
